Trade AS T5s and/or Aztar Secondary $100s for.... (1 Viewer)

I have 2 racks of mint AS T5s and 2 barrels of excellent secondary Aztar $100s.

I'm looking for:
- Surfside $5s
- MT $100s
- ES $1s (and/or possible $25s)

I'm putting a $400/rack trade value on the AS T5s. $300/barrel for MT $100s, $450/rack for ES chips, and $125/rack for Surfside $5s (only worth that much to me but, hey, I need them.)

I'd consider trading for other denoms of Surfsides as well, at $1/chip, once I satisfy my need for 2 racks of $5s. All chips need to be in excellent to mint condition.

Would rather give than take cash to make up differences in trade value unless difference is marginal (e.g. rack of AS T5s for rake of ES chips wiht me paying $50 in cash).

Trade only.

Oh, and if you'd like to trade for the AS T5s, but don't have the chips I'm seeking, then maybe find someone who has them and wants something you have and maybe we can work a 3 way swap... hint... hint.

Well, my comment was based, in part, on something someone posted a couple years back about these chips...

"I do think these are perhaps the nicest casino Chipcos produced, but in addition to the Chipco white ring, as you can see on the lower denoms in the pic, they are prone to color bleeding or transfer, etc. Happily, the ones I already have are virtually mint.

Also, it's tough to get anywhere near $1 per chip for used Chipcos, unless you catch a buyer with a personal connection to the casino or some similar attraction, or someone who really need the higher denoms, mainly because you can buy new ceramics at that price. Without added costs for special molds, spots, and colors, ceramic chip price ranges are much more compressed.

So at 75 cents each or less, I probably would have grabbed them, but above that I have to pass. GLWS, though"

Perhaps I was not accounting for the "used" reference in the comment above, whereas I'm looking for those that are in excellent to mint condition, or may the value of these chips has increased since march of 2016? What's a fair price for these now?

I just bought some Aztars $25s. If you ever decide to sell your Aztar $100s, please let me know. I know a good home for those chips

Geez, what kind of dummy would have said something like that?

The fact is that TRK/Paulson mania and the price of new clay chips seem to be dragging all the plastic and ceramic ships along with them, except for new production. When Detroit quarters hit and busted through $2 apiece, I thought the hobby had gone stark raving mad. It's a different chipping world now. Good or bad remains to be seen...

Mel has 2 racks of ES $1s, but I only need one, thus she could trade her other rack for Surfsides or MT $100s.
