Nice picture of Aria rack with hi denom chips. Good to see proper stacking & use of lammers for easy visual breakdown/counting.

Looks like $8,681,500.

I agree with one of the comments posted to the blog- I have never heard of a 25K (or other) chip being called a melon.

Nice pic!

Side note: while working in the casinos, I got the impression that the plastic spacers between chips are also called lammers. While this is common, it's not correct - they are just spacers.

Lammers have text on them, like those numbered lammers in the front of this photo for tracking commission.

I've heard of the Bellagio $25Ks being called cranberries and the $100Ks being called flags. Probably similar here.

Pretty sure Bellagio's "flags" are the $5k chips (red/white/blue). I don't think I've heard a nickname for the $100k.

Yeah- 5K Bellagio flags have been mentioned in various places (The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King, High Stakes Poker tv, etc.). The Poker Central "Aria 250K Super High Roller Cash Game" episodes specifically show all the chips from $100 to $100K and AJ Benza has called the Aria $5K chips flags for sure.

Good point. Spacer is indeed the proper term for the clear separator.
