I'm not sure Tommy would want PCF directly associated with a copy/tribute of a casino design, particularly one that's still operating.

How about this design, where I took the 's off the name but removed the location and added "Commemorative"?

I know @Josh Kifer did "Comemorative Edition" on his Cactus Pete tributes, since Cactus Pete is still operational. Might be a good compromise...
I'm fine with no PCF, I like Las Vegas better than commemorative but if that's how it needs to be to keep the bosses happy that's ok. Obviously I prefer it without the 's.

Could keep the Las Vegas and put commemorative at the top:

Will see how it progresses...

According to structure sheet they are used through level six of all the poker go cup NLHE events.
guess I can’t read at 3am when I posted that message haha

SunFly's ceramic hybrids do look and feel very close to plastics (to me).
they are much closer to BJ but still quite different from it at the same time, also I don’t think they will allow Aria or even Aria’s if you decided to use them due to a previous incident

you have any opinion on "Aria" vs "Aria's
Your latest version with the commemorative look the nicest

Aria look Nicer than Aria’s for me

They look awesome! I think I like the NCV black vs the red though.

I totally agree
Just another way to set it apart from the real thing to increase the chances of it getting into a group buy. I had it in blue too but decided the Aria is already in blue so I’d try red.

Plus I think there are some classic tournament chips that have NCV in red.

I'm fine with whatever needs to be done to get it approved. What about matching NCV with the commemorative color?

By popular demand, trying the NCV in the same/similar colors as the "Commemorative" text colors. I also lightened up the T5K and the T25K a little...

Still waiting to see if we can get these made with just "Aria". If we have to go with "Aria's", is that a dealbreaker for a lot of people?

They are beautiful! I am good with any of the NCV options so I'll let you decide. The 's isn't a deal breaker for me.

Few personal thoughts

1) The new 5k look closer to the real colour
2) The old NCV uniformed colour look nicer
3) Aria or Aria’s will likely not a deal breaker in most cases with Tina but will be with Sunfly

Any update on the sunfly hybrid vs. Tina debate?
I've never handled sunfly's so I guess it all comes down to price. What would be the difference in 1000 chips of sunfly vs tina and is the quality difference justified in the price? And, as @LeLe said, will there be design issues with sunfly as far as what they will allow.

The BW chips are sunfly. These would be worth the extra cost to have them made on the hybrid chips from Sunfly.

I have a sample set of Sun-Fly hybrid ceramics, so I assume they are the Polyinno, but they are 43mm. I like them quite a bit. The ceramic surface is smooth, and the label has a nice gloss:

Here's how Tina's no-mold textured 39mm chip look next to the Sun-Fly Polyinno 43mm chip:

The Sun-Fly Polyinno chips will likely be at least double the price of the Tina no-mold textured.

Quick non-binding poll, those of you who are interested, @jabsolstice @shorticus @paulkersey @ceramicmike @STL_POKERGUY @CapNcrunchPoker ( @JoeBGo @MichaelBubly not sure if you were interested or just complimenting the design ;) ) and anyone else:
  • Do you prefer textured no-mold chips by Tina for ~33¢/chip, or hybrid PolyInno chips by Sun-Fly for twice as much or more?
  • If you have a strong preference, would you still be interested if only the other option was available?
  • What total quantities of these chips would you be looking at?
If you'd order more of the cheaper chips or less of the more expensive ones, give a quantity for each type.

Sun-Fly sell their standard PolyInno starting at $0.89/chip on their apollonchips.com site but that includes shipping. Depending on the total quantity based on interest, we should be able to get a better price in a GB but would have to add reshipping on top.
