Registration for ARGEM III - 2022 is now open!!

There are a few changes of note this year.

1. The $25 registration fee should be paid when you pick up your badge in the Maryland Live poker Room 2nd floor). There is no need to pay that in advance.

2. All tournaments use the standard $200 buy-in that the Live Poker Room uses for other events. The breakout of the buy-in is listed on the structure sheets.

3. The Saturday NL Hold'em Main Event will start later in the afternoon at 5:15pm.

ARGEM will take place at the Live! Casino in Hanover Maryland.

Our three tournaments will be June 10, 11 and 12 2022.

2022 Tournament Details:

· Friday June 10, 2022 – 12:15pm: Limit HORSE

· Saturday June 11, 2022 – 5:15pm: No Limit Hold’em

· Sunday June 12, 2022 – 11:15am: Pot Limit BigO (High/Omaha Eight)

The buy-in for each of our tournaments is $200.

Everyone 21 years of age or older is welcome to join us at ARGEM. The *only* requirement is that you register with us in advance on our website. We charge a small registration fee that is used to buy our tournament winner's trophies and a commemorative coin/card protector that is given to each registrant on arrival.

You can register for each tournament at the Live! Poker Room tournament registration desk on the second floor of the poker room each day or anytime between Friday Morning until registration closes for each event, once you have your ARGEM badge.

Excursion Registration fee:

To attend our events and play in our tournaments, everyone must register online and pay the ARGEM registration fee of $25. The registration fee should be paid when you pick up your ARGEM badge in the poker room prior to your first tournament.

The FIRM DEADLINE for online registration is the end of the day Sunday, June 5, 2022.

When you register, please choose your badge names carefully. Your "nickname" will appear in larger print, and your "real name" below, in smaller print.

Lodging:

The Live! Poker Room has set aside a Limited block of rooms for us at Live! Hotel adjacent to the casino, using the poker room rate. Make reservations using the link found in the ARGEM registration email you will receive after you register.

The rates (mot including applicable taxes and resort fees) are:

$169 a night Sun-Thu

$249 a night Fri-Sat

Note that rooms are NOT unlimited. So, if you are a regular poker player at the Live! Poker Room and are already eligible for their poker rate, please make your reservation as you normally would. This will help save our designated rooms for others. Additional slightly cheaper lodging options can be found on the ARGEM web site. ARGEM - Other Lodging (argempoker.com)

The BARGE/ATLARGE/EMBARGO/FARGO/ARGEM herd is a great national (actually, international) group to play poker with. And the biggie, BARGE, in Las Vegas, in particular, includes such banquet speakers and tournament participants as Doyle, McEvoy, Harrington, Ferguson, Raymer, Eric Seidel, Bill Chen, Nolan Dalla, and the PokerStars management. Take a look at barge.org for more information.

(A not-too-subtle brag:
"2007-2008 RGP Best All-Around Player
(From Fargo, Atlarge, Escargot, Marge & Barge combined)
Larry "pltrgyst" Larson")

ARGEM is the newest of the gatherings. The final ARGEM update:

"Only two more weeks until ARGEM 2022 at Maryland Live Casino, June 10-12. Registration will be open through Sunday June 5th, just over a week from now. So If you’re on the fence and want to play, now’s the time to go all-in and register!

Thanks,
