I see somebody just posted on their auctions that they wouldn't ship internationally. I didn't think we were allowed to add rules to PCF auctions like that. I'm genuinely curious, because a couple of years ago I sold a pretty expensive sample set via PCF auction that I would have preferred to ship domestically, but I didn't think I had a choice.

As someone who doesn't benefit by saying this, there is no rule that the auction listing rules are the only rules one can have in an auction listing. To me, those are the minimum amount of rules that all auctions must have. Since there is no rule stipulating that Auctions must be available to all members and must ship internationally, there is nothing stopping a seller from stipulating which countries they will and won't ship to.

You causing trouble again? :ROFLMAO:

As a lazy American, I always thought of sales being everyone or CONUS only. Didn't realize we could have our own specific rules.....

From now on my sales will specifically only be available to the following countries:
USA
Russia
United Kingdom
France
China
India
Pakistan
Israel
North Korea

That is all, thank you.

I'm thinking of a sanction only nations sales thread.

Russia, Syria, Iran, Congo, North Korea, etc.

Special discount if the buyer is on the SDN list.

I was thinking of doing a free giveaway but only countries under tyrannical reign or in a banana republic. And Texas. Feel bad for the lot of them.

So sad... who would leave out Monaco?? For the record ALL members from Monaco are welcome to bid on my chips! The nerve of some people! Lol

PS... do we even have any members from Monaco? 499 acres for an entire country... sounds fascinating!

There is a "Free - CONUS Only" choice. So if you want to restrict it to 48 states, shipping for your auction must be free?

It's a fair point. I always assumed that all the standard rules were the minimum and maximum rules, but that's an assumption.

Insert comment about people saying conus when they just mean domestic us. Unless you all actually mean you won’t ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

@Tommy clarification please? I also assumed it wasn't allowed because you're required to choose one of the shipping options and "winner pays shipping to US only" isn't one of the options.

I can clarify to some degree. If you read the TOS it gives you the rules. It does not refer to where you can sell or ship to. That is left up to the person selling.

Here is what the TOS actually states
Classifieds

Seller can ship to where ever they choose. The Ships via "Other (see below)" option could be used but I should probably add an option under the shipping terms for more clarity.
