I just acquired a cash set of Mardi Gras Casino chips and wondered about their rarity. I know the clay chips (version 1) are pretty rare, and the v2b’s are newer/easier to find(?), but I’ve rarely seen these sold.
Are they even more rare than the other two? Are they not even sought after? Do people just drive to the woods and bury them in a deep hole out of shame and disgust for having seen them?
What‘s the story with this version?!?

Honestly, I don’t think they are that rare, though not sure how many were produced. Early ceramic version, definitely not V2. @Potsie1 may be able to shed more light.
Some sort of ceramic with unaligned edge spots?

The Mardi Gras chips we usually talk about around here are a clay series by BCC.
I didn’t know BCC was the original maker of this line, nor did I know that Nevada Jacks put out a separate series!
I thought they had just acquired the chip versions when BCC went under and sold the rest off.
So if these chips aren’t associated with the original maker, they must not be of any considerable value/demand.
Thanks for the info markleteenie and allforcharity!

Those are ceramic chips. Pretty sure I saw them being sold on the Nevada Jacks website about 10 years ago or so. Completely different business now.
