The khoi pond chip is 39mm. I should have took a picture with them stacked but cashed out and forgot. But the 1k chip is for sure oversized.

It was a survivor tournament based on the screen cap.

It was a survivor tourney, so top 10% were guaranteed $2500 which was the final 8. When it got down to the final 9, everyone kept pushing for a chop. Particularly Doug Lee who was a poker pro but also short stacked. I and the other guy refused initially and finally agreed for a little more cash and settled with 2200.

That’s an interesting format; it could be good for me. I’ve been known to linger for hours around 15bb in the later stages of deep stack tournaments. That often translates to a min-cash in traditional payouts.

Well..."No Limit Hold Em Survivor" should have been a giveaway. Once a certain % of the field is eliminated, everyone receives the same payout - unless they make a deal (like did in this case).

Should have been, but I’ve never played a survivor format. I guess I’ve heard of them, now that I think about it.

You're probably right. I was looking at the Venetian on ChipGuide but only focused on the inlay. But the spots do match up, so we're probably looking at the obverse/reverse between the two pics.
Right, if it’s definitely oversized, it must be. It definitely doesn’t look like a 48 or a 50 or whatever the next size up is.

Compared to clay, I'd agree. But I'd take ceramics over china clays every day.
They'll make whatever size mold you'd like for $25,000+. No need to proposition them.
