AKQJ are the English first letters of the names of those cards.

Asking strictly about physical decks of cards one could purchase, are those symbols translated into the local language?
Or does everybody just play the English symbols?

Asking for a poker software friend.

Edit: Collecting all the translations.
English - A,K,Q,J
French - A,R,D,V
Swedish - E,K,D,Kn
Russian - Т,К,Д,В

Swedish decks will have ”Kn” for knekt (jack), ”D” for dam (queen or lady if translated directly), ”K” for kung (king) and ”E” for ess (ace).

Wouldn’t use for poker but those decks exist.

Piatnik produces some decks with Russian indexes:

A = Т
K = К
Q = Д
J = В
