Not Mine Aransas Casino 1110 chip set for $1137.50 + $120 shipping (1 Viewer)

Wow he has a ton of them so maybe (16,000+). Pretty cool looking chips.

Yeah these have been up for a long time. He wouldnt send me pics of all the chips and he wouldnt even give me a correct breakdown. The numbers posted dont add up. He told me "well what do you want me to do? I'm not going to count all those chips" lol so I guess he really doesnt want to sell them.

Ever play poker with someone who has to count their chips one by one to make a bet into the pot, instead of making a stack of say 4 or 5 chips, and then just matching the stack -- like when making a bet of $80, a player could cut out 4 stacks of $20 (or 4 $5 chips), or 3 stacks of $25 (5 $5 chips) + 1 additional chip; instead they use both hands and peel off chips one by one or two by two to count to $80.

He told me the chips were still in the abandoned ship in Port Aransas. And he appears to be in California, so not sure that I would want to purchase any of these. He does not seem to know much about them. I told him to break them into playable sets and take a picture of the actual set and he would be able to sell them quickly. That's when he told me they were still on the boat in Texas. ????

Did he say exactly where the boat is? Road trip!

$1.36 is a decent price if they're 2 years old and in "excellent condition". Not so much if they were submerged in water lol.

Update: Owner says the boat is in Florida and he is sending someone to get them. Supposed to send me pictures when his person gets there. I will update when I get them

Wouldn't this be a violation of eBay terms to post something for sale that's not even in his possession?

This seems like a high risk high reward situation. Chance to be outright scammed. And even if chips arrive they could be in poor shape.

If they have been sitting on a boat with no ac in the Florida sun for the past few years there is a pretty good chance they are all warped to shit.

Definitely sketchy. I wouldn't consider buying these unless you can pick them up, examine the condition.

So the owner emailed me back with a few pictures. Also said there were "tons" of roulette chips. Roughly 16,000 cash chips. The pictures look nice but it's only a few. I offered to purchase 1,000 chips of a mix of denominations so I could see the quality first hand. He said he would sell me his "normal" breakdown for $1500

$1=155
$5=390
$25=399
$100=133
$500=33
1110 chips

I let him know there was nothing "normal" about this breakdown. I offered a few tips to help him sell them. This guy is impossible to deal with. The chips are now in his possession in California. Only way we have a chance to get them to PCF is for someone to go to his place and buy them all if he will come to a reasonable price. I told him to call me if he decided to come down.

He is a pain In the ass to deal with for sure. It's almost like he doesnt want to sell them. He cant even be bothered to post correct breakdowns or good pictures of the chips.

From the pics you got they do look like they are in pretty good shape. They are however still used rhc chips. A while back I offered him 9k for the entire lot of cash chips. If I remember correctly he told me he would take 12k for the lot.

I lost patience with him and decided I didnt want to deal with him any longer. It appears that 12k would be a pretty decent buy though if the chips are all similar condition to the ones you posted. They look pretty sharp.

anybody interested in group by at $1 a chip? I went to the warehouse and saw the gpi boxes stacked up. Didn’t open them up because the lady was closing shop. If we can get about 5 people at a little over 3k it won’t be that big of a hit.

Got him down to 14k for them all. 2800 between 5 people and each person gets a rack of $500 and split everything else by 5

Any chance you could go back at a better time and verify condition? The whole sitting on a boat in Florida for who knows how long makes me nervous about warping.
