Im looking for some chip racks with lids for my new RHC hot stamp set. Is there a consensus on which rack works best for 39mm RHC chips? I know I saw some comments that the Matsui have some wiggle room and the Apache were an improvement on that for the 39mm chips, but then I saw Tina was also making some. Just wanted to check in before I order them.

Thanks all!

Justin’s racks are the bomb.

I switched all my sets from Paulson racks to Apache racks (inserts where needed) to Justin racks.

I have not found better racks than Justin’s. thc/RHC are a tight fit and they stack beautifully.

Apaches and matsui racks hold 43mm pretty well but 39mm are very loose in both. Even with the inserts.

Justin racks 39mm and 43mm are the way to go

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll go ahead and order some Justins tonight and take advantage of the Labor Day sale.

The Justin racks are great. Especially if you’re using them in an Apache case.

When you keep your racks sideways like that do you have each rack wrapped in a rubber band or anything? I mean Justin rack tops & bottoms don't really "lock together" in any way... they more kind of just "fit together." So do you not worry about the rack opening when you go to lift them out of - or put them back into - the Apache case? Knowing my clumsy ass I'd go to put a rack back in the case, accidentally open the rack somehow when I turned it sideways to fit it in, and all 100 chips would proceed to tumble everywhere. LOL

The case is stored and carried standing up. This means the chips are on their side. They’re only standing up like that when you open the case to use them. The weight of the chips keeps the racks closed. In fact, the chips settle into the foam. You have to loosen the racks to access them.

I use tina racks now for my Paulsons. Don't have to worry about the fit and stability when stacking racks and it keeps the trays from resting on the chips of the rack below. I've been transferring my sets over. I found Apache racks to be a little too loose of a fit for my Paulsons. Although I still have a couple of Apache racks in use.

My Tina no mold chips are in chipco racks still though.

But I'm pretty new to all this, so I defer to the opinion of more experienced individuals.
