Hello all!

I have a questions about Majestic poker chips. Do all of these sites acquire chips like let's say Majestic from a manufacturer and then sell them. Or does a site like Apache produce their own product?
I ask because I purchased a sampler of Majestic among other chips from ThePokerStore. I like the look and feel of them but I wish the colors were a little more vibrant. If Apache sources these chips from the same place as ThePokerStore then I'll have to consider my options. If they dont then I'll order some samples from Apache.
The thread title just includes just those two suppliers obviously. If these suppliers source their chips from different manufacturers or manufacture the chips them selves, then who else would you suggest to look at? To add, I am well aware of CPC. (Wish it was in the budget).

Thank you for this platform.

If you’re okay with slightly bigger chips, The Royals are slightly more expensive, but have a great variety in colors and looks!

Try oiling your Majestics. I know some people say not to oil China Clays but these are an exception. On the Majestics/Royals it really brings out the colors.
Here's a picture showing the difference on some Milano poker chips from Apache, which are either the same manufacturer as the Majestics or else very similar.

The picture is from @Stibnite in the oiling done right thread. There are lots of other pictures and lots of good advice in post 1, as well as the rest of the thread

Oiling them did brighten the colors a bit along with taking off the shipping dust. I think I'll be looking at other options for chips, as I cannot get past the brown 5000. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am considering this as an option and will be ordering a sampler. I'm thinking I wont like the size though. I wish the 5k-25k was 43mm and the rest 39mm.

Do these vendors ever have sales on these (Majestics) chips? Is there a better time to wait and buy them? TIA!

I agree with you about the brown 5k. The orange, relabeled as 5K’s, looks terrific with the rest of the set. Then the white or blue as a 25k if you need one.

There’s a beginner’s traveling sample pack available where you can sample a bunch of different chips for the cost of shipping. Unless you’ve already decided on Majestics, I’d recommend signing up for the traveling samples.

Apache had the Majestic chips designed, and has them manufactured to his specifications and imports them from China. If somebody else is selling them, they were either sourced through Apache or illegally.

Another option is to get Cards Mold ceramics in your custom design. Looks like there might be a group buy happening...
