I used to play it to kill time. Haven’t played in a while.
And I’d bet a lot that those “clay” chips are actually clay composite dice chips.

Jesus, those games are bullshit. There are three different games you can play to qualify to win the chips - I think it's just random as to who will win?
The most expensive one is a ultra turbo 3 player tournament - costs 600,000 chips to play, winner take all. Except the winner gets 1.2 mil. THEY ACTUALLY RAKE 1/3 OF THE CHIPS.

Yup. So, the cheapest one you can play, for 200K, is an 7-handed all-in or fold tournament, but it's short deck, but it's actually super short deck because you're only playing with 9s and up. Oh and they rake 550K out of that one. I'm not making this shit up.
I played that 4-5 times until I won one. I couldn't quite figure out the strategy, except that straights win most of the time, so connectors and aces are good and nines are bad.

Thanks, I have it on my phone, so tossed in a game to qualify. That format is whack though...don't see that coming out at my home game...ever, LOL.
