Towards the end of the video the dealer lifts the chip tray to reveal another tray below it that has high-denom plaques. Is this a custom thing that the casino made or is there a tray readily available somewhere? If it's custom, then this would be a cool thing to build for a home game.

Look at the dealers cards...that is a warped deck if I ever saw one :)

Yah I've seen drawers and all, but not this. It did look a bit flimsy, you're right... just needs some touching up. Maybe a future build!

Would it really need the arms on the side? Looks like they're just there to guide the tray, you could probably just double layer 2 trays. Remove the top tray, lay it on the table to reveal the tray below. There are stronger pop up systems that can handle upwards of 100lbs if it needs to be held in place without help from the dealer.

I assume the arms are there to allow it to open and still float above the table as to not mess up cards and cheques that are still placed there. Agreed it looks like it could be better built though

I got one of those in my tackle box... Just never considered dropping a tackle box into my table...

I was thinking the arms were to make sure it was still "attached" to the table (for security reasons), but @RowdyRawhide is probably right... It keeps the top tray off the table (and closer to the dealer).
