Yes, they're cheap knockoffs and very lightweight, but I actually have a set of these to use as my 'travel/vacation' set, because I'm not worried if I lose them or if they get damaged, and they weigh a lot less, (5g as stated above), compared to 9-14 grams for clay chips or dice chips. So I could pack a 400 or 500 chip set
I've only seen them in red, blue, and white, and those are the colors I have. They're a unique material -- they have a plastic/ceramic type feel and sound to them.
If you would happen to be interested in selling the chips, (but keeping the case), I might be interested to buy them to add to my set, but I'd only be looking to pay pennies per chip.
