Anyone have any experience with these cabinets? (1 Viewer)

I looked at that same one a few years ago. I don't think the drawers are strong enough to support the chip weight.

I've got one of the tall ones with shallow drawers. We keep our kids' coloring books, etc in it. It holds the weight of the books fine, but I'm not sure about loading it up with chips. It's not that beefy. Here are some photos of how it's built:

Yeah looks like solid wood sides and front (even though not dovetailed) but the bottoms look like particle board (description says no particle board though)? That won’t last long with the weight of the chips.

Is it possible to replace the bottoms of the drawers with real plywood? Would that be worth it? Dunno.

I have an arts and craft cabinet that works perfect for chip storage, yours looks pretty close to same. The bottom two shelves on mine are on metal sliders but the top three look the same as the one your looking at.

This one comes with a weight at the bottom to help prevent it from getting top heavy.
