Anyone ever use the cheap simple green as a cleaner in an Ultrasonic. I know most people use TSP or fake TSP, but I have a Simple Green readily available in my office so I was wondering if anyone had experience with it?

Simple Green

Thanks.

Sorry.

Curious about the real answers is why I'm really here.

A friend of mine uses it on his BCC chips and has never had any issues. I would assume paulsons would work as well, i would try a chip or two and see what happens.

In my 8 years of Navy experience we used only two cleaners - Never Dull and Simple Green. If it was metal and could be shined, never dull - everything else, Simple Green. No experience on chips however.

Back when Resolve Carpet Cleaner and other similar products were in vogue for chip-cleaning use (pre Oxy), Simple Green had a lot of followers. No idea how it would work in an ultrasonic solution, however. But if it suds up, then no, it won't be effective.

I have used it in Ultrasonic to clean both older ASM and casino used Paulson.

It was effective. I'd recommend using a pretty diluted solution, maybe 1/4 cup to 6L. As always, make sure to try on some sample chips.
