Haven’t played cards so long I’m ghost dealing people in and pretending I’m crushing the table. Covid sucks!! No fall poker classic at Canterbury this year and card room are closed :banghead: Just want to get these chips back in play (exactly how I picture it lol)

Thank goodness I have this support here only check the forum couple 13-14 times an hour and watching andrew Neeme, Jeff Boski, Brad Owen, and the Degen himself Ryan Depaulo on the YouTube

I came up with a solitaire game years ago I call Break "The Bank!!"

Start with (10) $1 chips... play one hand to start and move up to two when you are ready against a ghost hand! Max is 3 Holden hands per player

You can double or increase to the next level when ever you are ready... but you can't go back!!

This has to be played limit! I allow doubling pre flop so... at $1 blinds you can double to $2 on premium hands. Post flop may bet is same as preflop bet, the turn can double (max $4 at this level if you doubled pre flop) the river can double again (max would be $8)

You do not have to bet post flop or and other position but if you skip... then next bet is the first level of betting

So say you hit a pair on the flop, don't bet... but hit trips on the turn... your bet can only be your preflop bet, and then doubled on the river.

All ties go to the dealer. (Keeps it fair since he is blindly calling your bets!)

No time limit, but idling is frowned upon! Add up the total value of chips in your set or the "bank"

Try it out!! See if you can "Break The Bank" a lot of strategy can go into this game on aggression, move up too quick... 3 or 4 bad hands could bust you!!

Can also be played as a race with other players like first to $1000... kind of like a tournament but in a casino style playing against a ghost dealer!

Say $10 buyin and race to $1,000... if a player busts out they are not dead. Either they can start over for free or if you like make them rebuy, say $2 per rebuy to the pot... full priced rebuys discourage action since you are typically ahead of that player at this point! Now they may have to become extremely aggressive to catch back up!!

May sound dumb. But it's a lot of fun, and excellent way to teach the game of hold'em... of course could be played Omaha or Stud also...

This is how @FordPickup92 learned the game of holdem!! This is a chill laid back version where you are not attacking each other but at the same time you are!!

I recommend at least 50k in the bank for this to play well.

Absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. That sort of behaviour is just crazy. You’d have to be a bit of a weirdo to do such a thing... :whistling:

If anyone steals my idea and sells it to a gaming company... I am still taking bragging rights and please send a TacoBell party 12 pack... we will call it even!! Lmao

I fixed my post... I screwed up!! I meant your value chips!!

Here you have... well.... one
Go sit on the naughty step and take a few minutes to think about what you’ve done  :ROFLMAO:

* Anyway it’s 4am and I got up to do a pee (getting to that age). I’m away back to bed.

This is basically the only way to showcase sets coming in during COVID.

PCF approves. And demands more of it.
I still have sets purchased during this pandemic that I still haven't put into play yet. And I was able to host 7 times from June to November before I had to shut things down again.

And yet somehow my invite was lost yet again???
I kept all the games max 6 handed except for the last game that was 7 handed because I had that many confirm and didn't want to turn only one person away knowing it was probably going to be the last game for a while. It's all love to the PCF crew here but I kept the games only to the crew I've been know and have been playing with for the past 15 years. @Irish is also a gracious host and I've been able to see the local PCF crew there a few times this year. Here's to hoping that the NJ meetup happens next June and that you and @FordPickup92 can make it!

All good buddy, looking forward to meeting everyone and donating. You'll find me at the low stakes kid's table playing some circus cash games. Still trying to finagle how I'm going to get there for both Friday night and the whole day Saturday if I play in the main event with the wife and kid...

Well, friends, this is the perfect time to pitch your own poker-themed movie to the producers who are looking for exciting new content. You can film a whole table sequence by yourself. Just make sure you have enough costume changes and voice differences for each character you portray. We could have budding Oscar winning screenwriters here!
