Any Simpsons fans? (2 Viewers)

So I'm a huge Simpsons fan and it suddenly hit me... Mr. Burns Casino! I think this is going to be the theme for when I create my custom set. Any thoughts on where I should start? With the inlay and go from there?

Thinking of this picture as a starting point.

Was my favorite show for more than a decade for me.

I think with so much material to work with, each chip could have a unique design, at least on once face. For me, I would also be making this a tourney set, just so that I have an excuse to do bounties, rebuys, seating chips, etc. I'll reply later depending on what you're looking to do, but man it really seems endless.

Bart/Homer jumping the gorge, tons of assassin episodes/characters (maggie with a gun from who killed Mr. Burns?), Killer Sideshow Bob, and so much more for bounties. The great reveal of the J. standing for Jay could be worked into the Rabbit Hunt buttons, Big Blind button being Moo Moo Homer, etc.

Anyways, good luck and following, excited to see where this goes!
 
The Simpsons is one of the last animated shows that I don’t find to be total garbage. And it’s pretty old now.

I read the Life In Hell series and watched a lot of comedy during the era of The Tracey Ullman Show, then watched it religiously for maybe the first six or eight years. I have since lost pace but am a big fan in the casual sense.

If I ran a tourney and needed people to show on time, I would hand out on time bonus chips. Since you're generally just eating and drinking before the game, on time chips can be from the Krusty Burger menu, i.e. Ribwich, Clogger, Filly Fudge Steak. Maybe the ontime bonus could be a "Hi everybody, Hi Dr. Nick!" chip.

Lots of fun chips you could do that are just buttons and extras. Maybe people can earn "Seat Change" chips, I'd go with the Canyonero. For a high hand chip or plaque, maybe Troy McClure?

And if all this is too easy, you could always go a bit more deeper. I think besides SSB, other bounties could be various images and instances of Homer being pulled up in the stretcher after jumping the gorge, or also awesome would be some image regarding the Smashing Pumpkins episode where Homer takes cannon balls to the stomach. edit: duh, or itchy and scratchy on each side!

Some one else mentioned a best episode ever and I agreed, but this is another one. Simpson’s has many Best Episode Evers. that are hard to argue with!!

Man there's some quality suggestions already in this thread. You could make a whole heap of different themed sets!
Not sure why but I think Hans Moleman would make an amusing small blind button. Give he is both small and (nearly) blind :)
 
I have actually been working on a custom set for the Stonecutter card room for awhile now. I have a friend fixing up my bad artwork and working on chip design. I am in a Simpsons themed fantasy football league and my team has been the Stonecutters for 12 years now. I have been meaning to get these made for years but started the process moving forward during quarantine.
