Hi I’m new to poker forum, I joined cause I have some questions about these chips that I found from estate sales - they are Lakeshore Inn and resort casino/ Poker chips !? They all have .25 and .50 face value on it, they looked pretty new, all have ridge edge and seem new from the the resort, any info would be much appreciated, are they collectible ? & value !? Thanks

Yeah, i can go back and recheck cause the guy was doing the estate sale tomorrow again, what’s the value on these fractionals ? Thank you for the info !

Very collectible. Not sure of value, but I don’t recall seeing the 50c before.

The Lakeshores are great chips. Congrats on finding some of them!

Of the chips you mentioned, the 50 cent chips seem to be a little rarer than the quarters. I have two racks (200 chips) of the half-dollars and I'm pretty sure at least 600 - 800 more are in circulation. There are at least two thousand of the quarter chips that are circulating in the chipping community. One of our members, @Shaggy, found a large stash of these chips a few years ago and would be the go-to source on the actual counts.

If you want to see what the entire chip rack from the Lakeshore looked like, check out my photo gallery: View album 656.

What are they going for ? I meant value wise, so the highest face value is $20 ?! Thanks lot for the info ! That’s amazing what you got

My advice:

1. buy as many as you can, then come back here and ask about value.
2. ask the mods to delete this thread. it took me about 5 minutes to find the estate sale you're talking about. there are people on this forum that will snipe them out from under you. sounds like you already have chips in hand and are just going back to look for more, but still you can't be too careful. it happened to me several times back when I was more open about my chip finds.

Nice find! I’m likely in for a couple racks of the fifty centers. I’ve got like five racks of the quarters. Will send you a private message.

Great pick up. As @LabMonkey pointed out, I picked up a similar lot several years ago. Close to 2200 Lakeshore fracs. Only about three racks of 50c however. The one issue you may encounter is that around 10% of the chips were warped. That’s okay. I would recommend sorting them out and when you get to the warped ones, include that notice in the listing. I would expect that you can get approx $150 to $200 per rack. The mint 50c will fetch closer to $200. The warped 25c chips might fetch around $100.

The only drawback to this 25c chip is the fact that it is red. That cuts down the potential buyers. It is common for sets to have a red $5 chip.
