Where do you store them?

Edit: In the drawer, are they in cardboard boxes or plastic cases?

I left a set up in my car once and this happened to it. I assumed it was heat damage.

We’ve seen that at least once before, here, with KEMS. I don’t remember who it was, or when, or if anybody had any good theories. But we’ve seen it before.

Get your money back if you just bought these. These cards look like they've been stored in a hot warehouse for years.

Wow... seems like KEM cards are always being called out with quality issues. I know these cards have lots of promoters but boy do they seem prone to picking up damage.

I don’t even buy new Kems. I never had issues with Pre-uspc Kems. But I’ve never not had issues with uspc Kems

I literally thought this was some sort of Braille writing on the cards.

I've never owned and these issues certainly don't have me clamouring to pick some up...

Say what you will, and I can’t blame you.
but casino KEMS are the greatest cards in the history of the world and I can not be convinced otherwise.
Well I've just started exploring outside of Copag so I don't have much frame of reference in the differences between manufacturers...

The temperature here doesn't exceed 35℃ in summer , It's too fragile.
It enough to store them close to very warm heater or any other heat source. I have seen it before.
I gave a friend of mine a set of brand new (freshly manufactured) Kem Pantheon.
I had identical set for regular play and since this was his favourite pattern, it was his birthday and he have done a lot of good for players collective, I wanted to do something nice.
He travels a lot and left the set in his car. Summer was warm and after two months when he took them out they looked like on pics you posted.
The other set was stored in the locker and we played with it for next two years.

It may be that the damage from heat was done before they arrived to you.
i don’t like the idea of having to open all setups to inspect as soon as they’re purchased, but it may be necessary going forward.

Five years ago...I accepted all the quirks of owning KEM cards (price, storage, humidity, horrible aftersales, ...)

Seeing what is available now (and at much better prices)...one most be a real KEM fanboy to still deal with all these diva demands.
Buy Fournier, Cartamundi BE stock or Desjgn (depending what floats your card boat) and never look back

Humidity? I know that Copags have problem with humidity but not Kem

I've seen KEM decks warp due to humidity since the environment was temp stable at 22c and no natural light.

Once I started using Desjgn and Bike Prestige, I never went back to KEM or Copag.

Bike Prestige are realistically just Fournier in discuise....
Desjgn are Modiano or DalNegro depending on issue

So what? What does that have to do with my comments on KEM and Copag? What is the point here?
