"Anti-Cheating" Chip Tray (1 Viewer)

Interesting.

Hopefully, those rows are customizable, because I don't see many casinos with $10/T10 and $50/T50 chips. Seems to me that he didn't do all of his research or his sample model would be better suited to the casinos needs.

EDIT: And I think its awesome that this guy found a niche that helps him get money from the casino under the guide of catching cheaters... He found the casino's soft spot (protecting against cheaters) and is exploiting them because of it.

This does not take into account the dealer making change from the tray, that isn't exactly a loss.

Right. Because as long as the house is winning, everything is hunky dory. But if a player is winning, they must be cheating. Eff them.

Yeah, but hats off to this guy and his entrepreneurial spirit. I bet he makes a killing off these things (and off his fees to casinos).

Yeah, but dealers announce changing cash (and typically wait for the floor to acknowledge larger amounts).

Maybe this guy needs to invent a dropbox that can auto calculate cash...

The cash in/out slot technology already exists -- every ATM has it. Many vending machines, too.

Maybe if they are that concerned just adopt a hybrid table - live dealer but electronic betting. No chips to account for or open them to losses.

I wonder how the system accounts for lammers. Some casinos have the dealers put them in for easy viewing of the tray. I guess maybe you don’t need to do that if the tray counts...you won’t need the floor to be able to see the tray from a distance.

Or when the dealer puts the ones in the 25's slot and puts the difference in his toke. Blame it on the machine.

Hey, don't discourage the guy, lest we all start playing on these...

The chip is an endangered species. Anything to preserve it's natural habitat has got to be a good idea.

omg, a virtual craps table? Talk about a buzz-kill..... the live component is what totally makes the game.

Yep - and sadly I've seen people at them. Not people our age, but people.

The people that would never sit down and play a game of Scrabble, but think "Words with Friends" is awesome.

I played on one many years back. Seriously like 25 years ago. Only dice in the casino.. No poker room. Just roulette and black jack (and other crazy table games).

I don't recall it being terrible, but it was also not like real craps. I wouldn't recommend. And it was a sit down game.
