Surprising a buddy with a bday trip to Vegas next week. A group of us have yet to play in any card rooms there.

Bday boy likes tournies. So, looking for advice on best daily tournies to consider as well as best spots for cash games ($1/$2 or $1/$3). We’ll be there Fri, Sat, Sun and staying at the Wynn.

Appreciate any help/guidance!

Aria dailies are decent as well and a nice room.

Wynn is absolutely my favorite cash room, the $1/3 $500 max is a pretty good game, especially on weekends, drinks and food comps are great too.

Bally $5k Sat 2pm $160 if only on strip
Orleans has gone heavy on tourneys with big guarantees every day of the week. On Sun $30k, 11 am $200 plus $100 add-on. Some mixed tourneys too.

I recently played the Wynn's $200 daily tournament and it bangs. Great structure; the nicest poker room in Vegas; plenty of runners (222 when I played it) and prize money ($10,000 for the winner in my field).

If you don't want to grind a tourny for 7+ hours, try ballys donkuments. They are quick and fun. New room is nice too.

You ran a little bad in the tourny chip department unfortunately. They have two or three sets of tourny chips they cycle through. The newer set is a nice 8v rhc. You missed that one. You got the old gross solids.

Well, 4-way chop and I was the chip leader. I took the top end and the next three spit the remaining even.
