I put together a PNY cash set to accommodate a 30 player game. However, I have decided to get a set of Majestics to handle the large games and reserve the PNYs for small 10 player games.

Basically, I want to have my everyday day dishes (Majestics) for regular use and keep the fine china (PNYs) just for special occasions.

Consequently, I am sitting on way too many PNYs and need to thin them out. (Hopefully that will make some people in secondary market happy.)

The games will typically be 1/2 NL, with a .25/.50 game thrown in every once in a while. In those cases I use my 25s as the fractionals and a $20 chip on the high end.

Current Setup

1s x 340
5s x 420
20s x 60
25s x 280
100s x 20
500s x 0

Total 1120

(I actually have more 100s and 500s, but have allocated them to a tournament set that I have up for sale)

Proposed Setup

1s x 100
5s x 320
20s x 40
25s x 240
100s x 40
500s x 10

Total 750

The current set-up looks adequate for a 1/2 game. Perhaps you don't need the 60 $20 chips and can slim down to 1,060 chips. If you need to get into a 1,000 birdcage, then drop enough $1 chips to fit.

I am very interested in the PNY $20 chips if you're going to sell any of them. I would take 20-40.

Please let me know if you're willing to sell any. PM sent.

As I so often suggest, you don't need odd denominations used as fractionals. All you have to do is multiple by four when people buy in,, then play as if the stakes were 1/2, and at the end divide by four when they cash out Very simple.

This has the added advantages of getting your players used to playing 1/2 for casino ventures, and subconsciously conditioning them to play in your actual 1/2 games.

And it will also let you sell those valuable $20s that you do't need.

Interesting concept that I've never thought of before. Sounds simple enough.
