ABC Gifts and Awards label? Anyone have pictures of finished project? (1 Viewer)

Oh- almost forgot. Get a small set of plastic clay modeling tools. Sometimes, due to user error (or if labeling China clays, production variances) the label will be off by just a hair or be a hair too big. Removing and re-sticking is preferred, but what if the label is too big? With these puppies you can smooth out the label right into the corner of he chip recess and right up the wall of the recess! If you are only off by a hair this is fast, easy and looks indistinguishable from perfect chips when done.

It will take a little trial and error to figure out “how close” is close enough to pull that trick. It I’m sure you’re ordering a few extra labels anyway.

For anyone else looking at this thread who is considering labeling china clay chips I'll just repeat the usual advice for CCs: get ALL of your chips from a single batch, because they will never again make another batch quite like that one.

Depending on the manufacturer(s), sometimes future batches are VERY different. And then you are reduced to trying to sell your custom-labeled chips (which no-one wants) or getting samples from multiple vendors and buying bunches of used chips searching for someone who has a some kinda' sorta similar to yours. It can be very frustrating situation. In the extreme cases, (the really sad ones) people caught in this situation get so frustrated they feel compelled to go around spouting advice about china clay chips in every PCF thread they can.
