Abbiati (1 Viewer)

I think there have been a couple of try to deal directly with Abbiati in the past (over at CT) and most deals fell through. I didn't think they were much interested in dealing with home market sales but that might have changed.

I have several Abbiati chips and like them. They are probably 1 tiny step below Bud Jones in quality but I still think they are a pretty good chip. Very compatible with BJ's is mixed sets.

They were supposedly opening up an office in Las Vegas relatively soon, and I *think* I remember someone saying that around that time Abbiati would be changing their tune on working with the home market. I may be imagining that, though.

@jbutler , @mipevi - Was it one of you two that was trying to get info from Abbiati on customs recently? If not, do recall who it was?

Maybe both. My efforts were futile. Was first told about a year ago that they would have an office in LV open a year from that point. Contacted them later and they said, maybe another year. That was a couple months ago.

I did recently make contact with a sales rep from a distributor out of Texas who said he could get Abbiati customs for approximately $2.50/chip. However, I think they would only deal with commercial clients with something in the range of a 5K chip minimum. I'm not sure if they explicitly require a gaming license, but I know that they're not dealing in small orders with consumers.

Hi all (starting w/ my 1st posting),

i wrote an email to Abbiati. They answered:

Yeah, like Matsui, there is a minimum required on their products. Unlike Matsui, however, their minimum on the high end.

Hi all (starting w/ my 1st posting),

i wrote an email to Abbiati. They answered:

Is this current, for poker chips only, or for all products? Because before going with Matsui for plaques, I contacted Abbiati for plaques and they sent me a contract to sign. Their minimum was 250 plaques at $21-$23 per.

I asked this week:
I'm interested in your poker chips & plaques.
Do you have a download link for an actual price list?

I never contacted Abbiati, just tried to help recall what kind of prices they had back in the day.

I've asked them samples about a month ago, they asked me some money and I haven't receive anything yet :s

Finally I received my samples, but they didn't give the prices yet.

Here is the thread with other pics : http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/abbiatis-samples.11469/ ;)

Before anybody gets all worked up over that bag of 'clay chips' samples, they appear to be Sun-Fly polyclay diamond mold ceramic blanks, printed by Abbiati:

NOT compression-molded clay chips with inlays. At least they aren't drilled like the plaques. :(

Does Abbiati produce for homegame market too?

Does anyone knows anything about Abbiati Prices?
If and when they do open up, I need to top off a large roulette cheque collection. ...following thread.

Good day
Thanks for your enquire

Mrs. Misty, based in USA, will contact you

Best regards

(so Mrs. Misty will be talking to me next)

Hi

I am the Business Development Manager for Abbiati Americas and it will be pleasure to assist you.

Please let me know what you are looking for and I can let you know pricing and costs. The plaques and jetons have a 25 piece minimum, so if you can let me know quantities, that would be helpful.

I have attached a brochure for our Acrylic style.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Misty Rodda

I'll ask about chips, but it looks like printing plaques for the home market is not a problem.

Without specific artwork / numbers blah blah blah, the plaques are in the Matsui range, $25
Jetons not in quantity are around $20, prices go way down if you order 1000+
American style chips are around $2 each, no quantity discounts (Makes sense if we assume these are farmed out to Sun-Fly)
Injection chips in quantity can be had for around $1 each.

I have some free samples on the way. If their injection chips stack ANY better than Matsuis (which are the slickest chips in history), I smell a group buy. A rack of chips like this is sexy:
