Man, i’m glad you came visit our country, and I’m happy you like it.
You were in veneto which is the region of Venezia, Verona, Padova and many more good places to see.
If you’d like to come back I suggest you to visit my and @Pippa region “Piemonte”. Which was the land were the Italian reign started in 1861.
Here you can appreciate the first Italian capital “Torino”, a city full of historical places, where modern culture is mixed up to ancient roman’s and gothic styles.
You can visit the langhe and Monferrato hills, you can see the lake “maggiore” in the north and you can see the the second biggest European mountain “monte Rosa” ( 4634 mt).
You need to experience our good red wine and truffles (in a city called Alba”), and also you can taste good white wine and chocolate in novi ligure/gavi.
Of course you can taste one of the best Italian food: fritto misto di carne (in asti),fritto misto di pesce ( in Alessandria), agnolotti del plin, bagna cauda, carne cruda di fassona, bönet, grissini torinesi, tagliolini al tartufo, il brasato, i gianduiotti and many other things.

That twinkle was despair after taking 40,000 selfies before we finally got one herself was happy with. To my untrained eye the other 39,999 selfies all look exactly like that one

It’s a great country. Been around 6 or 7 times now. Only bits I’ve still to see is around Milan and Turin.
