Here’s an experience I want to pass on. Most people would wouldn’t appreciate it but I think most of you will. I was working at Pala casino in Southern California. I was working with casinochipper22 , we worked together there for about 5 years until corona closed our little poker room. Anyway there was a wooden locker in the back of the room that had 3 complete sets of tournament chips that we were not allowed to use. They just stayed locked up there for years. And they were beautiful hat and cane all the colors of the rainbow and mint. I mean mint where the manufacturing dust was still on them. Why couldn’t we use them ? They forgot to print no cash value on them. Anyway one day the boss says to me “You and Monica load up all those chips on a dolly and wheel them down to the loading dock “. When I got to the dock there was a truck pulling a trailer waiting for us. In the trailer was a chip destroyer - like a wood chipper. I had to hand all the racks of chips to the guy at the dock and had to listen to all the chips getting destroyed. The thought of putting a few in my pocket crossed my mind but I didn’t. I wish they sent me and Derrick down I know we could have saved a few of those poor chips.

This is just gut wrenching to read. I’m sorry you had to go through this.
