I was watching this auction, forgot to bid at the end, but it didn't matter much since the price went above my limit anyways.

I am currently watching this auction. Haven't decided if I will bid or what my $$ limit is.

I'm hesitant to bid on it, mostly because of the circumstances of the casino and the chips. The same family owned the casino for decades, but they did a couple naughty things, lost their license, and had to sell out (to Larry Flynt/Hustler Casino). So there may be a hoard of Normandie chips, which would probably make the first auction way overpriced. And if there is a hoard, the Normandie name is still known, but is not a casino anymore, so releasing it now would probably get good value.

There are some sexy chips from Normandie through the years. If there is a hoard, release it somebody! (Or it may already be out there and I am just ignorant)
