I just brought this home for my new CPC Rounders set...

Have a look see if you are wondering about this case. It's available pretty much anywhere. It's not for portability though. More of a home poker room piece. Quality came in above expectations so I made this post...

Hope it can help.

I want to chime in about the hinges on this style of case. They are pretty to look at but not durable. They bend, torque, break and the screws used are no where close to adequate for the job. It is easy enough to damage the hinge just pushing on the lid while it is open.

The cases themselves are nice, but not suited for anything more than display. Do not misunderstand my comment - these cases are a bargain for a display piece. These cases both look nice and are functional as chip trays while running a game. Just don't put any strain on the lid / hinges.

Been there, done that, broke the lid -=- DrStrange

Thanks for sharing your experience. As I have none, I hope I don't break my own. I suppose quality needs to encompass time tested results too.

Thankfully, my case just sits on a little table top.

Yes, the hinges seem they would not stand up to impact.

Thanks for posting that, I've been curious about those cases. How easy is it to remove the chips from the bottom section? And it looks like a spot for 2 single decks and a few accessories? Could you get 4 single decks in there?

The chips come out super easy I find. No issue at all. I like how the tray fits snuggly inside and gently displaces the air underneath. The heavily lacquered surfaces make chip removal a snap. There is also velvet that lines the inner walls so the chippies are happy:tup:

I took photos of before and after loading, so I don't believe there is room for 4 decks. There isn't even room for anything other than standard dealer button either in terms of accessories.
