Those are pretty epic actually.

This guy is selling them for .05 a piece. Crazy deal.

Gorgeous labels. The themes for each color are fantastic. Do you know if he did the labels himself?

i can't recall - it might be in his CT thread linked above. i also tagged him in my post, so perhaps he'll show up and give us the backstory.

That label is seriously cool.

But those lucky bee's are awful. I had a set back before I knew better and I rate them at the bottom of every chip I have owned.
Actually that may be a bit harsh.

Of every poker chip in the world ever made or even remotely conceived of in some madman's twisted imagination,
these are the second worst!

I have a different opinion about these chips - I rate them way better than dice chips but no where close to anything you would find at a North American casino. If these were local I would have the itch to go get them (but it would be a stupid itch given I have plenty of good casino sets).

Thanks for the tag Jack! I don't think I need that many chips. That's just Friggin insane! Besides I would wear my thumbs to little nubs applying 10,000 labels :D

I would agree with the Dr. on these. Yes they are a very hard plastic chip. I wanted them for a couple specific reasons. The colors and the label size. I very much wanted a cheap set to echo the Ritz's. And if you are going to use photographs you want the largest surface available.
As it happens with a little elbow grease you can make these chips quite likeable. By using a strip of emery cloth; if you lightly slide a chips faces the length of it you can make them stack like Champs.

The labels would cost at least $1200 ........ so now you are in for $1500 with a set of custom dice chips to show for it :)

if anyone had any interest in these chips, the new site sponsor Straight Poker Supplies has them on clearance for 12 cents each, though they are apparently out of the yellow and blue.

if it might sway you further, the whites are used for the $1s at Belize's illustrious Captain's Casino, so you could pull a very, very low level Christian Lusardi and make off with literally dozens of dollars.

Belize's dollar vs the USD is 2:1, so it's only half as lucrative as you might think.

Man, after the chip and the labels from gear, you're profit margin is gonna be super slim on the singles.

my dream of dozens of dollars ruined
