OP asks for advice on a 500 chip breakdown for a 5/10, POSSIBLE 10/25 game.

Commenter advises 100 of each: 1s, 5s, 25s, 100s, and 500s.

Thoughts? Thats pretty casino, right?

Edit: to make it clear, thats the worst possible idea.
Get the standard colours that your casino offers with those respective denominations. That will create a guide so you can always reference and players will feel at ease because it is consistent with a legal game. Where I am from, it’s:

1- white
5 - red
25- green
100 - black
500 - purple

100 chips of each

That’ll give you 63 buyins at the 5-10 level which should be good for a night. I say that tongue in cheek.

For 10-25, that’s 25 buyins which might be a little light.

Lol 100 of each is a terrible breakdown. For 500 chips $5/10 and possible $10/25 for about a $40k bank I'd probably go something like 100x $5 200x $25 160x $100 40x $500. $1s are unnecessary unless tipping a dealer, use dollar bills or round up to less frequent $5 tips.

100%. The man doubles down on it too, promise Im not the one trying to convince him otherwise there's no way its worth the time.

$5 x 100
$25 x 200
$100 x 100
$500 x 100

Will be my choice for 500 chips set, I upped the # of $500 just to have enough bankroll to cover 10/25

Realistically people who play 10/25 are going to play deep stack so

$5 x 100
$25 x 200
$100 x 300
$500 x 200

Are most likely the breakdown for $10/25
