Building a small 48" table mostly to gain experience in wrapping the rail. The table was purchased from craigslist.
I noticed how easily the paint was pealing off when routing so I decided to scrape the paint off.
I was hoping to use the ring I cut off the table for the lower rail but it fell apart in 6 pcs.

Painted the apron black
Glued two thicknesses of headliner
Stapled black outdoor fabric
Added iron on patches over rail mounting holes

Following, I have a similar table in my basement that I plan on doing the same thing to.
