Hello all fellow poker chips nerds ;)
Can anyone tell me where to buy 44 millimeter poker chips? Preferable in Europe, but if not in then in the States.

Thank you.
Thorn

Tack så mycke Erik! Damn hoped I could avoid the crazy tax etc. fee recieving parcels from none EU :(

Is it specifically 44mm you’re after? Or does 43mm (more common) work as well?

44, preferable with the rounders mold :)
As in the scroll mold?

How about Asia? Sun-Fly, trustable site vendor of PCF.

Thanks alot nostan! I will look into it.

Yes it is :)

David says it has to be the rounders mold though, since they wont make any 44 millimeter every 2. year or so, and I would have to wait min.1 year.

If you need the scroll (not rounders, that doesn't exist) mold, David/CPC is the only way as they produce them on request. Unless someone wants to sell theirs, for which you should make a wanted ad in the classifieds.

That sounds like a long wait, but it’s all a matter of perspective. You’d be looking at a longer wait for some other CPC molds. And unless you’ve got art for the inlays ready to go (or you’re just using stock art) you have to know that that takes time too.
I have no idea where you are in this process, but I’d suggest some deep breaths and consider if it might be worth the wait.

Hey upNdown. When I say the "rounders mold" I mean the "rounders scroll mold"

We now use plaques for the 5000s value in my home game but I wanna replace em with 44 millimeter freesbie chips :)
Biggest "problem" for me is still the fact that the shipment and taxes is gonna be so expensive since I live in Denmark. ( We have to pay an absurd amount for getting stuff outside EU ).

Thank you for your feedback! :)

You keep calling it ”the Rounders mold”. Original Rounders were on the now refunct ”Roman mold”. It’s possible to get stock chips with the Rounders design on either the Scroll mold or the CSQ mold. But you could also get ”custom” Rounders on any of the CPC molds (I assume) by paying custom prices.

Shipping and import tax is a bitch (I would not like a summary of what I have spent so far :)), but getting what you want without ordering from outside the EU is gonna require finding it on the very small european second hand market. Seriously doubt that’ll happen, but you never know of course.

Another way is to find it on the larger Non-EU second hand market, and hopefully with someone that doesn’t mind declaring a lower value on the customs form, so you can at least reduce the import tax part. Makes it a small gambol though as insurance value will follow suit.

Yes, I keep calling it a rounders mold/cqs. I am well aware that the EXACTLY rounders chip is not to be obtained anymore or for the last 15 years or so. But when I say "rounders" people, especially in here know exactly what I am talking about? And I am also well aware of the "Roman mold", square circle mold and "rounders scroll". In the future, if you see me write "Rounders mold" I just mean one of the last two but thank you. The 500 Rounders replicas CQS mold I got last week is the closest I can get to the original rounders roman mold.
I had David ship it to Mandalay Bay hotel and casino, where a friend of mine was staying for business, and he brought em with him home in his suitcase through custom. The metal detectors went crazy though because of the bronze in the chips  :ROFLMAO: but he got through without paying anything. So in other words I saved ALOT of money by having my buddy bringing em home to me. I am going to Vegas myself in November again, so I might just wait and do the same thing again.

I think most in here can quote Rounders lines in their sleep but ”Rounders mold” can get a little confusing :).

Bringing them yourself from Vegas sounds like a great solution, if you can time the delivery.

I hear you, one wants the chips yesterday. Stock design is probably best then

Which kinda poker chips do you run at your homegame kompiss?

I use ceramic WSOP replicas and plaques.
And "rounders bear logo CQS".

I rotate CPC customs, BCC Mardi gras, BCC CDIs and look forward to soon welcome a set of BCC Proteges into the mix.
