Does anyone think the 43mm is gaining momentum.
Are there any major casino's in the USA that use them?
I just had a custom set made from SunFly and really really like them !!!
Yes I'm new :)

Pr0n or it didn’t happen? :D

Welcome to the forum!

Yes...
Had them for about 6 months.

I don’t think most casinos would offer the 43 mm because of cost. But some VEGAS casinos have them. I personally love the way they feel in the hand. You have good taste!
They cost me the same price as their 39mm

I guess I'm one of the few that prefers 39mm over 43. I don't mind 43mm in a tournament set, but prefer that the 43mm chip starts at 1000 or above. I don't like sets that have a 43mm for the 500.

If I ever involve a 43mm chip in a custom set, they would probably be the 5000 in a tournament set.

There are US casinos that use them... Look at the Jacks Detroit set... Even the old MGM set had 43mm Baccarat chips that were taken out of play after two days (never heard definitively why).

I don't think you'll see them replace 39mm anytime soon. Doing so would require replacing and the dealer trays, chip racks, etc. Some casinos don't give much thought to their chips (as evidenced by their inlay), and as such, I doubt they'd spend more, especially on the lower denom chips, just to have them 43mm.

There is a casino in Cali and another in Wisconsin that have most of their denoms oversize. Those are the only two I know of with regular chips that are oversize. There are hundreds of casinos with oversize chips for tourneys or baccarat or high denominations or sports book chips.
