Hi,

If we consider for instance 312 spots. On a 39mm chip, each of the 3 spots will be +/- 1/2" wide.

Will it be the same on a 43mm chip or the spot will be bigger (+/- 10%) ?

Kid.

This is a very interesting question. My guess is yes the spots are bigger, but I will need to measure to be sure it is not an optical illusion. Here is an extreme comparison between a 39mm and 50mm. I will measure 39, 42, 46, 48, and 50 to see if there is a ratio depending on size.

Although, @BGinGA likely already has the answer...LOL

Without actually measuring, I'd guess that spots are spots, regardless of chip diameter. I seriously doubt that multiple size V or moon dies exist for cutting out shaped spots for example, and it only makes sense that numerical spots (1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2") are actual size no matter what.

Even length/depth appear to be the same, considering how som spot patterns appear on 43mm chips vs the corresponding 39mm versions.

@Seeking Alpha Social Club: make sure you compare apples-to-apples when measuring V spots -- they are not the same shape/dimension of both sides of the chip (one side has a sharp V shape, the other side is larger and more rounded).... pending actual colors in play, since melting point and elasticity play a large part in how spots are formed and distorted during compression.

Not meaning to take away from @BGinGA’s very good response, but wouldn’t this be more of a question for @David Spragg ?

Edit: I was assuming the OP was asking about custom CPC chips, not Paulsons.

No. Seems larger on 39mm if anything. His caption is wrong; the 43mm IHC mold chips are on the top.

where do you order these chips?

Check out the Marketplace section of the forum or the classifies.

The chips pictured are chips from closed casinos and are pretty rare so you won't see them available in a store. Some exceptions would be in the Marketplace where a vendor buys a casinos chips after they close and makes them available to the public.

The one big exception to this is Classic Poker Chips. They allow you to make custom chips, and they're great. Furthermore, you should post in the section PCF Introductions and Check Ins of the website and we'll let you know everything. :)
