200 Motels
Flush
It's time again for another live donkament at Red Shores Racetrack & casino.
This time it's a $330 MTT with T8000 starting stack and 300 runners.
Played a satellite for the event and bubbled it like a champ. A player who won the satellite offered to sell me their seat for $250 so run good already.
Since the place doesn't have a big poker room, they empty out their simulcast (horse racing) room and fill it with 10 poker tables. So 3 flights of 100 players. Each plays down to 20. Then the 60 remaining return on Sunday to play for the win.
30 minute levels. The blinds roll back to 200/400 on Sunday which is excellent. Here's the structure which is pretty decent.
25/50
50/100
100/200
100/200 - 25
150/300 - 25
200/400 - 25
300/600 - 25
400/800 - 50
500/1000 - 50
600/1200 - 75
800/1600 - 75
1000/2000 - 100
1500/3000 - 100
2000/4000 - 200
With it being a MTT with 3 flights, players can register for each of the qualifying flights and take which ever stack they chose to Sunday, should they make it. There will be a quite a few people firing more than one bullet. Not me, however.
Last time I played one of these mid stakes MTTs here, I played the first flight thinking people would be a bit more spewey knowing they could fire another bullet. This time I chose the Saturday evening session for scheduling purposes as I work on Friday and am golfing Saturday morning with the father in law.
I've just recovered from an awful flu that lasted one day (all day Thursday) and I don't think I've slept this evening (Friday evening). It should be interesting to see how alert I am come poker time. Anyhow, I'm pretty high functioning on little sleep.
Official rules can be found here.
Pics to come and thanks in advance for anyone who sweats. $23,000 up top. Let's do this...after some golf.
