Not irregular -- quite the contrary: a four-color spot color rotation, imposed atop the bear-claw pattern.

Alas, I'll have to be happy with my single chip.
When I first saw this chip about a year ago I overlooked it's uniqueness but then realized it's basically 4 colors rotated 3 times instead of the more common 3 colors in 4 different spots. Very cool.
