Hi all,
I’ve just taken the plunge into Paulsons and with the help of this forum and it’s awesome members I’ve pieced together an 800 chip cash set of Grand Victoria’s. I really really dig them and I’m super excited to have them. I mostly play $1/$2 cash games but it would be nice to have a $.50/$1 option. I know there’s no $.25 chip in the GV series so I was wondering what your opinion would be to add a nice match in either .25 or .50 denominations that wouldn’t look too bad when paired with the GV’s.

also, once this cash set is done I’m going to be building a custom CPC set in tournament denominations. So I’ll post my initial renderings for opinions. Man this forum is going to cost me a boat load. I guess I’m pot committed now!

That means use the already existing Grand Victoria secondary snapper :)

Edit: Sorry. Being a smart ass is second nature for me. Snapper=$2.50 chip
Lol when I saw your reply I googled poker chip snapper and found the $2.50 answer. Good idea. Seems like they’re hard to find though

They're out there. GLWS!

Ah, my, old broken record: you don't need them. As long as you, the host, can multiply and divide by 4, you're set.

Want to play .25/.50, with buy-ins of 200BB? Player gives you $100, you give him $400 in beautiful GV chips.

You play your game at the usual $1/$2.

He wins, cashes out $800 in chips, you give him $200.

Just like the big kids in the casinos, but the wallet thinks it's .25/.50. :cool

(I have a few thousand GV secondaries, and I'd *never* miss an opportunity to get those beautiful $5s in play as the workhorse chip.)

Here’s mine. I also have the GV snappers and I was thinking of pulling these from the line up.
Sorry for the blurry picture
