2023 Stock Poker Chips (2 Viewers)

3) Anything from BRpro’s standard lineup.

Mr. C poker store has some decent standard chips for not a lot of money. They’re metal slugs, but they’re better than dice chips. I have a cash set of the Yin Yang chips, and they’ve served me well.

Thought I'd start a thread this year. Some topics that have already come up:
1) How to spell "Categories"
2) Where do you buy chips in Europe?
3) What stock chip sets would you recommend people consider?

John I am still trying to find a sample set of the “Howdy Cowboy“ ceramics. Any idea where to find them? Also, isn’t it kind of odd that GPI will do a giant NAGB of casino level chips but no longer will do the “promotional“ chips like Monaco or Elites? Any chance we see another run of those?

I just ordered the "Sample Pack" on the bbopokertables page. It had some Howdy Cowboys. I'd contact them to be sure.

GPI is odd, I agree. I think most people wish they would jump back into the consumer market but time will tell.

3) Stock Chip Recommendations

  • ~20¢/chip: Monaco or Outlaw sluggers from Discount Poker Shop
  • ~50¢/chip: Royals or other China clays from Apache
  • ~$1/chip: BR Pro stock designs
  • ~$2+/chip: CPC stock designs

~$1/chip: BR Pro stock designs
Even better, their stock chip prices are .75 per chip in quantities of 100-499. And they have sales or discounts from time to time (or at least they have in the past.)

I think it’s important to keep this information out there. Because their quality is so much better than the Tina ceramics. And because new Chiproom Paulsons are now what $2 and up per chip? 75 cents apiece is a reasonable price point for where these fit into the big scheme of things. Or at least I think so.
