2016 NL Wildcard Game (1 Viewer)

If Cleveland hangs on to face Chicago there's going to be a lot of soul searching in our household.

Familia and Cespedes choking again when it matters most....

We're not in the game without those two... and what happened last year wasn't completely Familia's fault.

(Although it still hurts knowing he had enough save situations to win the Series, but was let down by the defense.)

This is the second time I've opened this thread expecting to read about No-Limit Wildcard games and wondering, do people actually play no-limit Follow the Queen and Baseball?

Those would be scary games to play... I can only imagine the chips that would get on the table with rebuys.

No way. The world needs the Indians to win to provide a sense of sanity this November.

Besides, we saw what happened when Boston finally won a World Series -- I can only imagine it would be worse in Chicago.

Agreed, but when it comes to the postseason, they seem to disappear in big spots. Hopefully Ces stays, but big money says otherwise. Here's to a healthy 2017!

Ugh... Game 5 is all on Harvey and Collins. Familia should have started the 9th.

As for Ces, he's already said he won't opt out. Frankly, even if he did leave, there's enough hitting in the FA market (and yes, I'm looking at raiding the Blue Jays roster -- much to the dismay of my friends) between Bautista and Encarnacion that the Mets could replace Yo without too much issue.

I'm just giddy for next season -- the pitching staff will be back, Wheeler should (SHOULD!) be healthy enough to replace Bartolo (who I'd want to stick around for another year anyhow), and a healthy Walker, Duda, Captain... only a couple holes to fill (*cough* SS), but we should be co-favorites with the Nationals to win the NL East.
