Records were just absolutely smashed by the 2013 World Series of Poker’s sixth event, the $1,500 no-limit hold’em “millionaire maker” event. A total of 6,343 entries were made in the two starting flights, setting the record for the largest single-day live tournament ever and in the process building a gigantic prize pool of just over $8.5 million, and a first-place prize of $1.2 million.
