Wanted 10c/25c Travelling Cash Set (2 Viewers)

Looking for a set that can be used as a 10-max 10c/25c set that I don't have to worry about leaving in my car. Need denoms on them - we're not the brightest bunch

Yaks immediately come to mind (I'm smacking myself for not buying Mr Cheese's set.....) but I'm not sure what else would be a good candidate. China clays?

Hmmm...not sure I want to part with my Yak cash set. Will sleep on it.

One thought are the Aviator Club chips from GOCC. The non-denom could be 5c, so you would have non-denom, 25c, $1, and $5.

How many chips are you looking for? I just hit 10 posts so I haven't made a post on this particular forum, but I have a set of China clay Desert Palms and China clay Pharaoh's with nickels I am looking to unload.

I would also be interested (although to a slightly lesser degree) in chips that didn't have currency symbols (5, 25, 100, etc.) but would not want them to having anything like "tournament" or "no cash value" on them.

I contacted Jim at Palm Imports...he made Royal Yak chips to my specs (color/denoms). I have orange 5 cent, purple 25 cent, green 50 cent, blue $1, yellow $20 and black $100. He took my order over the phone, had his guys make the chips, and they were shipped out within a couple of days...

Another thought could be these (unfortunately, no nickels in this set.) Just bought a set for our Truck Camper.... 500 chips with California sales tax and shipping was $97!

I'm in no rush for now. I don't need them until the end of April/early May. I'm willing to wait and see if anyone has something that really sparks my interest. Otherwise I'll likely just pull the trigger on a set of 300 Pharaoh's from Apache

I would have loved to take GOCC up on their inventory clear out offer.

If high heat in the car is a concern, I'd avoid compression clay chips (Paulson/BCC/ASM/CPC/TRK), and probably avoid china clays, too. Better to stick with ceramics or one of the better slugged chip options (Poker Knights, Monaco Club, etc.). Or faux clays.... don't you have a bunch of those?

I would recommend pharoah's club, they have quarters and 5c's. Or you coould go for desert palms, as they have 5c, 10c, 25c, 50c, $1, and a $2 chip.
