So while I love the Brybelly wooden 500 chip cases, I've amassed a set with more than 1000+. I've seen some plexi+racks and I don't think they look or give anywhere near the presence to better carriers from the stand point of those who don't know chips. Is there a good 1500-2000 chip option that isn't just a clear chip rack carrier or should I just hire a porter to carry the chips in and out of a game like a boss?

Now if you're talking 1000+ Tina ceramics, then go ahead and get the cheap case from Harbor Freight. But if it's a $10,000 set of TRKs, I'd invest in something more reliable. I'm biased but for me Nanuk make the best cases. Well I should say, Nanuk make the best latches - everything else is just molded plastic. For 1000+ chips, I would definitely get something with wheels.

More than 1000 chips is going to be a hefty beast. Lowball 9g per chip, you have 9kg per 1000 chips (nearly 20 pounds for the non-metrically inclined).

Hauling 1500 or 2000 chips in a single carrier would have to be something with wheels considering hiring a mule or Sherpa.
