I've been looking at my Jumers primary set, which is from $1 to $500 ($1, $2.50, $5, $25, $100, $500, see pic attached).

In looking at it, and in pondering, what I feel I'm missing is a quarter frac option, and a $1000 option. I think I'm OK without a quarter frac, but really think I need the $1k's. I think plaques for $1000 is too low (I think they would be fine for $5k or $10k).

Thought about some reasonable re-label options. In a perfect world, I'd find a barrel+ of orange RHC's, do a quick mill and then re-sticker.

In a bad world, thought about the non-matching blank Claysmith chips that I could label.

Looking for some thoughts and ideas. During the chiproom sale, I was going to pick up some of the old Lake Elsinore RHC's, and clean them up and see about relabeling for quarter fracs......but they disappeared. And that's what made me think more about needing the $1k's versus the $.25.

Looking for thoughts and ideas about this.

Lady Luck $500
Isle Casino $500
Terrible’s $500

Above chips listed are RHC and orange, but I’d say IHC or Jumer’s $1000 are much easier to find.

I just saw @aggie selling some live Gila River $2s that are orange. Maybe a bit too light in color... not very bold orange...., but probably a better price than most orange chips you could get.

GREATLY appreciate the replies so far - gives me some things to look at. A few viable options, thanks!

BUT - I again have to add that I'm not as flush with cash at the moment. After my last recent large purchase, the wifey kindly suggested that I maybe consider a cruise next December for the fam... and as a wonderful woman that looks/smells/feels good, and allows me to do 'frivolous' things at times..... my plans for a potential big chip purchase this year have been postponed. Guess who's going cruising in December? One good thing is the discounted room via casino offer.

I should probably add; thought was to try and have the chips to do a T25 tourney style for a table of 7-10. Reason; when there's an abundance of friends/fam, we usually have enough people that want to play a game. It's easier to do a tourney style, and make everyone cough up a one-time fee with no rebuys (hardly anyone younger keeps cash on them). Tourney style also means there's an estimated end time. It's nice to not have to be stuck at a table with certain family members for 6-8 hours.

I can't say I've seen any examples in doing a cursory look-around, but I might also look at how having the $2.50 fracs could change a tourney structure.

If your not flush on cash, not sure how many $2.50 chips you have, but you could sell them to help fund the remaining set. Or if you have enough of them you could relabel those as quarters.

- The 1-2 Jumers $1k's that I've seen (other sites - not here) are going for about double what they sold for during the chiproom sale. I don't know that there's enough of them out there to put together at least 20-30. I like my Jumers, but they're also not worth $30-$60 per chip to me at this time.

- I figured that I could get some ideas about other orange RHC's that would work with a relabeling - and I've had some great ideas provided. Can't thank you all enough! But some of these are also a higher demand chip, thus being about $10 and up a chip. That's not horrible - but probably (again - at this point) a bit more than I'm looking to spend, if I can help it.

- I think I'm going to keep my eyes out for some orange fracs or similar. Same with some blues that I could rework to quarters. Because this is a used/played chip set, I don't know that I could justify having pristine chips. I think if there was something suitable that could be relabeled, even if they were wearing on the edges with fleabites and such, they'd work. Anything already murdered would also be something to consider (am strongly thinking about an option one member messaged to me).

- I've also got a few things that I'll most likely list in the next month, maybe do some partial trading. Have some rare barrels, a bike-tire set of THC hotstamps, a couple of racks of my Cow Creeks, etc. But obviously nothing to make quarter fracs or 1k's with.

EDIT; I also am not opposed to picking up a full rack, if that's the best option. I know there's lots of orange RHC's around, solid to spectacular, roulette/tournament/ncv/etc, just need to keep my eyes open
