What are some of the easier casino chips to get, besides the Even Stevens? Starting to look for something to go with my Grand Victoria $5s and $25s.

Just seen 100 Double down $1's on ebay earlier I think $50 and 200 CHIPS casino for $100 they are both, probably pretty worn though with the DD's being in better shape I would guess

If your willing to pay $1 each, you have a lot of options...

Haha, very true there. I am mostly wanting some of the closed casino chips.

While at work tonight, I noticed on my table they had some new $1 chips put into circulation. Always amazing to see the difference of used chips, in grime, and physical changes. Being in IL, our casinos are non smoking, and they still get dirty. Filthy ass players! :)

The Double Downs looked too rough for me, though they have the same picture for the 100 option and 200 option, so I am sure that atlanticcoin just uses one for the auctions, and then you get what you get. A couple that had crossed my mind, but wasn't sure how available they are, or become, in no particular order:

Casino Aztar
Terribles
Empress
Chips Casino (Bremerton WA)
Aces Casino (though not much because an oversized inlay with normal inlays I think would look weird.

Any others come to mind?

Dollars can be hard to come by. People hoard them, and when they do sell them , they price them out greedily

Par-A-Dice would work, but the singles are a little less common. Those and Aztar are probably the cheapest. Terrible's will be over $100/rack, Chips Bremerton don't surface often, Empress is over $100 and not an RHC chip, Aces is oversized (like you said).

Used PCA primaries are still dirt-cheap when they come up, and other than condition a fine-looking chip. You wouldn't want something minty to go with those Grand Vic chips though.

Imo, for a used-condition casino set, one of the smartest moves is to ~rent~ your $1 chips from a real casino (Vegas or elsewhere, doesn't matter). It does requires a $1-per-chip down payment, but is totally refundable when you are finished using them (resulting in getting to use the chips for free). And readily-available, depending upon your location.

how does one exit the rental facility carrying racks of $1s? Is it allowed?

Pretty much. Racks stuffed into a backpack seems to be the most commonly-used transport mechanism. Sorting chips at an open table can sometimes inspire some casino employees to help locate good-condition chips, as can tipping the cage personnel.
