Here's a set of 1,900+ Paulson Horseshoe Gardena chips with an actual playable breakdown! Included in the breakdown are all the chips in the picture below *with the exception of the sample set displayed in the foreground.*
  1. STARTING BID: [ $ 3800 ]
  2. Bids must be placed using numbers (no images), in whole dollars, and in minimum increments of [ $ 25 ]
  3. NO RESERVE. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  5. No bid edits or bid retractions permitted. (note: ALL edits are logged instantly)
  6. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at [ 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 ] will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be within 5 minutes after the latest bid was posted. A bid at the close time is NOT a valid bid. Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
  7. I reserve the right to: 1) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; 2) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
  8. PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
  9. Shipping Terms: [ US ONLY. I will pay for shipping via Three Medium USPS Priority Boxes + Signature ]
  10. Payment Terms: [ PayPal Friends and Family (or Goods and Services at +3% after total cost]
I believe I also have the rack of $100s as pictured separately below. Unfortunately, I am up at Maryland Live! right now, and cannot confirm that they're still on my shelves. When I get home on Tuesday, I will confirm their presence and make them available to the auction winner, should he desire them, at an appropriate price.

That's TWO big sets of these popping up for sale in the last week. If you had the cash to buy both, that would be epic!

Hi can you kindly let us know:
1) The actual quantity of each denom being auctioned
2) Condition of the chips across each denom
3) How many are shaped inlays vs non shaped inlays within each denom
4) What the actual cost of the 100’s would be to the winner.
5) Can you also take some side shots of the chips?

Thanks!

No.

Ahh right... well hopefully he can get some info/pics before the auction closes... or delay the auction by a day... I think it’s relevant info to provide.
Don’t take offense, just Larry being Larry :meh:. I honestly don’t think he can help himself.

If he doesn’t provide additional detail, prepare for the worst and hope for the best right?

OK, let me make this clear: @Changster, you're probably a perfectly nice guy. But you're bidding in the other Gardena sale -- the one with multiple racks of essentially useless $50s, etc. -- so I'd prefer that you not bid here.

You have no pictures of your chip sets posted on PCF, no evidence of what you're doing with the chips you buy (other than murdering many), or if you know what you're doing (e.g., the wildly inflated chip values you volunteer so freely), other than splashing money around -- and I don't need your money.

I felt slimy for a week after accepting too much of your money for the two racks of ES quarters.

If I'm going to sell chips, even by auction, I'd like them to go somewhere where I'm confident they'll have a good home.

So yeah, you're going on my ignore list, and I'd appreciate being put on yours. Dunno what effect that has on auctions, but maybe we'll see.

@Changster most of these chips are probably fantsy.

All Horseshoe Gardenas are fantasy -- they were never delivered and used in a real casino. That makes them same degree of fantasy chips as PNYs, for one.

As a matter of fact, if you consider Gardenas supposedly ordered but not delivered to a legally operating casino to be "real casino" chips, then so are Empress Star, Aurora Star, and Pacific Star chips. :cool

So the Gardenas weren't a group buy? @BGinGA

I have no dog in this fight, but I have seen plenty of pictures that @Changster has posted of his chips, some have also been in use at the time.
