Hi guys, looking for a decent set, need at least 200 1's, 200 5's and 100 25's, would take 2's and 10/20s if they were there, I also need some 100s ideally, will also consider sets with 50c or some 500 chips, not expecting anyone to split their sets. Im reasonably flexible.

Im in the UK, will pay shipping from US if needs be.

Can pay anywhere from $300 to $2000 for the right set

Thanks

Welcome here! You should probably give a bit more detail. What kind budget do you have being the most important one. Also 700-2000 chips is quite a big span. Do you host games with multiple cash tables? Otherwise it’s doubtful you’ll need as many

I am hosting 1 9man cash game, but looking to stretch to 2/3 in the future and am hoping to make one purchase that will last me for the future

If you're willing to wait 1-2 months, you could order a set of cards mold chips and get them shipped straight to you from China. 2000 chips should be under 1000 euro shipped. If you're willing to pay a designer a couple of hundred, you can get custom designs and the manufacturing price stays the same.

If you narrow down your search, we can probably help you. Your price range seems to be from $300 for 2000 chips (15 cents per chip) to $2000 for 700 chips (almost $3) - that's a difference of 20x. That's like saying "I need 1-3 cars, each which costs $10,000-$200,000." We don't know if you like understated or bright, clay or ceramic, custom or premade. You have nearly every option imaginable available to you.

To me, 700 chips is a good amount for one table game (full ring) even if 600 can make it too.

Since for OP, a 50c is an option, I guess he's playing 50c/1 or 1/1 and might want to cover 1-2 too.

0.50 x 60 (if only used for the small blind, 6 per players shall be enough but you can still push for one rack)
1 x 200
5 x 200
25 x 200
100 x 40

Which makes a bank of 1023 per player, so 5 buy-in of 200 (100BB) if playing 1-2.

WIthout fracs and reduce the count to 600

1 x 200
5 x 200
25 x 160
100 x 40

Making 80 fracs (vs 60) and 20 hundos (vs 40) would also work. And in the event you want to also cover smaller stakes (ex 50c-50c), you have a little bit more fracs per player which should cover your players from always making change.

Same for the second config I proposed you, 180 x 25 (instead of 16) and 20 x 100 (instead of 40) would also work.

It still has enough bank to cover your games.

My search is wide purposely as not looking to split anyone's sets, to simplify it my top end budget is for larger chip sets of better quality, my bottom end is for inferior chips of lower quality, i hope this helps
