I have both and can confirm, semi gloss is better in 95% of applications. Textured can work well if you want a glimmering effect.

I am pretty sensitive to the sound of poker chips. I have synesthesia which just means that every time I hear a sound I see a color (there's a deeper definition with more to it, but for sake of the point I've simplified it). The really high-pitched "clink" sound of some chips drives me crazy...

Chips are like women. I want them to look pretty, feel good in my hands, and other people get jealous when they see me with them. Also, I personally don't like small chips (or women), bigger is better :p

Are you only going to host one table? I’d get more $1’s. At 100 total each player would only get 10 if you have 10 players. With multiple tables you’ll run out pretty much immediately.
