I know I personally have over 10k invested in my overall setup and have never taken a dime from my players for any of it. It’s my choice to host the way I host not theirs so I feel charging them would be wrong. I know others here have spent more than me and do not charge either. I guess it comes...
Soon I will have both a Greek key mold and a web mold Tina set. In addition I have a Chipco set, 2 CPC sets, a BCC set, and a Paulson set. Why do I keep looking at the Classifieds??????
With the days of $900 and more racks being ever more present can you blame anyone for wanting a $900 or less completely custom setup? Especially when they are nice looking, feeling, and sounding.
In some circles BL might stand for Broken Legs at the stakes you are talking about. I wouldn’t let the host off the hook totally, seems like he allowed this to happen.
@Jeff, I’m so happy you have included my humble additions in your awesome collection. My one visit to your house in the third WCB is still the highlight of my chip forum tenure. Thank You for being my friend in this obsession we call our hobby.
BL was basically playing for free - F that big time. A chance to win thousands while losing nothing - bullshit!! Host extended, host pays and BL makes him whole or he learns BL is a huge piece of shit!
Credit extended by the host should be paid by the host. No question that BL owes the host, not you. You did not know of or extend the credit. Friendship not withstanding right is right.
