So last night, one of my players tossed a pen across the table, and as it skidded it left a 2-inch long black ink mark on the felt. I did a quick blot with water but it had no effect. Anyone suggestions on how I could get ballpoint pen ink out of speedcloth felt?

Had a guy bring a deck to one of my home games once, and he really wanted to play with it. I would have been game but the other players dismissed it out of hand.

What's your total number of chips? If you have 1,000+ total chips, you could just use your normal chip set, only say from the outset that all chips have equal value. If you want to play a $2/$4 game, every chip on the table is worth $1, so people are just putting out 2 or 4 chips, depending on...

This sounds like it would be a good $1/$2 limit game. You have enough workhorse chips to make it work. Stud games get a little tricky, as the bring-in should be under $1 so you'd have to have a few fracs in play, and I'd make it a dealer ante of $2-$3 just to keep it simple.
